The system owner is responsible for monitoring or maintenance of the solar system.

Freedom Forever guarantees that your solar system will produce the electricity we promise it will with our 25-year production guarantee. If it ever breaks or falls short on power generation, we reimburse you the amount equivalent to the production you were guaranteed in your contract. With the Freedom Forever 25-year production guarantee, you get 25 years of less-stress power from the sun. It's that simple. You can either prepay all the payments, purchase the system after year 5, or you may be able to transfer the agreement to the new homeowner.

The system, including Freedom Forever's 25-year production guarantee, will stay with the home and transfer to the new homeowner. With Mosaic, there is no prepayment penalty if a homeowner wants to pay off their loan before the term ends.

No. The system owner claims any available tax credits, rebates, or incentives.

You may be eligible to claim the Residential Clean Energy Tax Credit that allows up to 30% of your total solar system price to be claimed as a personal tax credit when you purchase a solar system. Homeowners with no federal income tax liability will not be able to benefit from the Federal Residential Clean Energy Tax Credit and homeowners with low federal income tax liability may have to claim the tax credit over multiple years to receive a benefit. Again, a tax credit offsets the amount of tax you owe. If you don’t owe enough federal taxes to realize the full 30% Residential Clean Energy Tax Credit in a single year, you may be able to roll over any unused portion of the credit on your tax return to future years. With a Lease or PPA, the system owner warrants your system for the Term of the Agreement and your roof for roof penetrations for 10 years.
